2026 EVENTS & UPDATES
This summer, our church family came together to pray over our children. Together, we prayed for more than 50 children throughout the summer.
Each week, we wore prayer bracelets and added the name of a new child as a reminder to faithfully lift them up in prayer.
We believe in the power of prayer and stand on the promise of James 5:16:
“Pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.”
What a blessing it has been to join together as a church family and cover our children in prayer!
On August 7th, our church was honored to host our first annual Backpack Blessing. Through the generous support of our church family and community sponsors, including La Morenita Restaurant, we were able to collect and bless 410 backpacks for children in our community.
We distributed 205 backpacks on our church property and donated another 205 backpacks to local schools, including Joel J. Hidahl Elementary School, Westport Elementary School, Walter White Elementary School, and Whitmore Charter School.
Thanks to the generosity of our community partners, every backpack found a home. We were also blessed to include haircut vouchers in each backpack, generously donated by Central Valley Barber College, HairCuts USA, Adrian’s Beauty College, and Paul Mitchell.
We are so grateful for everyone who donated, sponsored, volunteered, and helped make this event possible. Because of your support, we were able to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families in our community.
As the new school year begins, please join us in praying for each child—that they would have a safe, successful, and blessed school year.
